The academic departments offer guidance and facilites for Ph.D.programe.For this purpose, the University offers 10 Doctoral Fellowships. Until now, more than twenty faculty members and scholars of this College have been awarded Ph.D. degrees.

The following students are advised to get them enrolled in the Ph D programme (without any scholarship) of this University in the following departments/schools under the Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences, BESU, Shibpur,

on or before 10th September, 2010 by filling the enrollment form in duplicate and  paying the requisite fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One thousand only). Note that the fee is to be deposited in the cash counter of the UBI, BESUS branch situated within the campus and the receipt (marked as Admission cell’s copy and Finance Officer’s copy) is to be submitted along with the duly filled in enrollment form in duplicate to the office of the Dean from 11:00 – 1:30 hours on any working day on or before 10th September, 2010. Candidates are advised to mention “Ph D enrollment fee” in the form (to be provided by the bank). The enrollment form may be collected from the Dean’s office or may be downloaded from the website (www.becs.ac.in).
