Admission to Master of Engineering/Technology (M.E./M.Tech.) Programmes
The University, under the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, offers full and part-time time postgraduate courses leading to M.E./M.Tech. Degrees from nine departments and five schools. The departments offering these programmes are given below.

- Purabi Das School of Information Technology
- Safety and Occupational Hazards
University offers 25 full time and 4 part-time post-graduate programmes through the above mentioned departments and schools. The total number of AICTE approved seats are more than 250 in the PG programme.
Admission to all PG courses are done by the University directly on the basis of GATE qualification as well as our own screening (test/interview). Other than the GATE qualified students we also offer the PG programme to a number of sponsored candidates. Provision is being made to offer PG courses to our project staff and technical assistants for the better prospects of these contractual and permanent staff members. Announcement for admission to the PG programme is usually done in the month of April each year. Only on-line application is accepted.
Accommodation is arranged in one multi-seated PG hostels for the boy student. Girl students share their accommodation with the UG students in the two girls’ hostels. Due to paucity of accommodation some PG boy students have to be accommodated in the UG Hostels/Halls as well.
Financial Assistance is available to all the GATE qualified candidates.
