Aerospace Engineering And Applied Mechanics

The Department of Applied Mechanics was established as a separate major engineering department in 1947 and subsequently the Drawing Section was attached to it in late fifties. The Drawing Section of the Department teaches drawing subject to the students of all branches of engineering at the undergraduate level. The aerospace engineering and applied Mechanics Section offers subjects

  • Solid Mechanics/Strength of Materials;
  • Fluid Mechanics Hydraulics;
  • Hydraulic Machines Fluid Machines Fluid Power & Control and
  • Dynamics of Machinery
  • Human Body Mechanics
 
to the students of different disciplines at various levels of the undergraduate courses.

NEW New Course on Aerospace Engineering from 2010-11

The University is going to start a new UG Course on Aerospace Engineering from the Academic Session 2010-11 with intake capacity of 15 students. The admission well be made through WBJEE.
